Interview with Luis Fernando Mejia, Director of Macroeconomics at the Colombian Ministry of Finance

As Colombia gears up for the second round of its presidential election, currently scheduled for June 15, the talk has been almost uniformly on the peace negotiations.

On one level, this is absolutely understandable. On another, the focus on the negotiations has overshadowed debate on Colombia’s economy.

Luis Fernando Mejia, Director of Macroeconomics in the Colombian Ministry of Finance, is a rising star in Bogota. You might as well hear from him now, because your gonna hear from him in the future.
