So Cuba…amiright? Since the announcement of a thaw in Cuban-American relations, it seems everyone and their madre is suddenly a Cuba expert. And everyone and their socio suddenly wants to drop everything and go to Cuba.

Well lets move, as Jimmy Cliff says in The Harder They Come, from Revolutionary to Ras. After being a reggae head for about a decade, I am finally  heading to Jamaica. These are by no means my recs for best Jamacian music, or my favorite Jamaican music or artists. But these are some tunes that have been in heavy rotation since I booked my trip.
